CapCon 219's bicycling duo brought a horde of Lance Armstrong-related entries (click on second image above to see cartoon), but the judges went in a different direction, crowning a first-time caption champion who was among many who focused on the bear's unlikely presence. Now the race is on to win CapCon 220, so don't get left behind.
Send up to three entries to page2@post-gazette.com or mail to: Caption Contest/Portfolio, Post-Gazette, 34 Blvd. of the Allies, Pittsburgh PA 15222. Please include name and address and identify your municipality or Pittsburgh city neighborhood. Deadline: Oct. 7. Winners receive a PG umbrella, so eye-catching that it should draw as much attention to you as a 40-foot-tall rubber duck.
