I am writing in regard to the terrible tragedy that happened in Forward on June 24. ("Names released of 2 killed in Forward Township crash," June 26).
How many lives must be lost or people injured for something to be done to the intersection of Guffey Road and Route 51?
I have lived in this neighborhood for 15 years and there have been at least a dozen lives lost and many more injuries.
Why can we not have a red light at this intersection?
Wake up, officials, before another life is taken too soon.
