A homeless man whose remains were found in Bellevue in 2013 has been identified using DNA tests, Allegheny County officials said today.
The body of John Jones, 47, was found behind a storage facility in Bellevue Dec. 12, 2013, according to the county medical examiner's office.
The office worked with Pennsylvania State Police, who sent a DNA specimen to the University of North Texas Center for Human ID for testing in hopes of identifying the remains.

The medical examiner's office has listed the cause and manner of Mr. Jones' death as undetermined.
