Troopers make Armstrong County arrest after high-speed chase

An Indiana, Pa., man has been charged with several offenses after he was arrested yesterday by state police in Armstrong County.

State police said Russell J. Neely, 38, was seen speeding on Route 422 in Kittanning in a pickup truck that had been reported stolen. After a pursuit at speeds over 100 mph, troopers were able to stop the vehicle and arrest Mr. Neely on Route 422 in West Franklin, Armstrong County.

He has been charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, drunken driving, fleeing authorities, receiving stolen property and several summary violations.
