NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Monday:

Nordstrom Inc., down $2.97 to $44.18

The New York Post said a deal to sell the department store to the Nordstrom family is in trouble.

Halliburton Co., down 50 cents to $45.53

Energy companies slumped as oil prices fell sharply.

General Motors Co., up $1.77 to $42.15

The Detroit automaker is promising more than 20 electric or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles by 2023.

Dentsply Sirona Inc., down $3.48 to $56.33

The dental equipment company replaced its top three executives.

Synchronoss Technologies Inc., up $1.36 to $10.69

The mobile services company said it is still exploring options and talking to potential buyers after negotiations with Siris Capital ended.

MGM Resorts International Inc., down $1.82 to $30.77

At least 58 people were killed and more than 500 were injured at a shooting at MGM’s Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.

Trinity Industries Inc., up $3.41 to $35.31

The industrial manufacturer said an appeals court reversed a $682 million fraud judgment against it.

American International Group Inc., up 47 cents to $61.86

Federal regulators voted to ease oversight of the insurer, which was subjected to tougher regulation after its near collapse in 2008.
