The National Weather Service has lifted its winter weather advisory for Allegheny County.
The advisory does remain, however, for Butler, Fayette, Westmoreland, and Lawrence counties through Sunday evening.
A winter storm warning is in effect for Mercer and Venango counties.

The weather service reports that a cold northwest flow will result in periods of snow. Total snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches is expected through tomorrow.
