TRASH TALKIN': If you're not already convinced that celebrity worship has gone way over the top, pay a visit to Hollywood Star Trash, a Web site that is selling items allegedly gleaned from Paris Hilton's trash, via eBay.
Among the items available: an empty can of Party Animal dog food (priced at $162.50 as of this writing, plus $5 shipping), used makeup collection ($200 starting price), Q-Tips, a toothbrush, contact lenses, postcards and more memorabilia from everyone's favorite celebutante/ex-con.
The Hollywood Star Trash slogan: "If it's not star trash, it's just trash."
They guarantee that all items were taken from trash bins outside Hilton's home, but not that Hilton, "or any other celebrity," used or touched them.
A MySpace video follows the trash pickers as they pinpoint Hilton's home and find out when trash day is. A videotaped consultation with a lawyer indicates that it's all legal, as long as they wait until the trash is on the street. A second video showing how the eBay auction went will be posted soon.
Other celebrity trash is being stalked by the folks at Hollywood Star Trash and will be available in the coming months.
