INDIANAPOLIS (29-19) opened a 7-game homestand with its fourth consecutive win, a 10-5 victory over Toledo. RHP Adrian Sampson (4-3, 3.15) was touched up for 4 runs on 7 hits and struck out 4 in 6 innings of work. DH Tony Sanchez (.243) was 2 for 4 with a double, a triple and 3 RBI. LF Jaff Decker (.340) was 2 for 2 with a double, a walk, a run scored and an RBI.

ALTOONA (26-19) lost to New Britain, 9-5. RHP Matt Benedict (0-2, 8.10) was rocked for 6 runs on 10 hits, including 2 homers, in 5 innings. RF Willy Garcia (.295) was 2 for 4 with a 3-run homer, his first of the season, while 2B Max Moroff (.318) finished 2 for 5 with a double and both scored and drove in a run.

BRADENTON (23-24) defeated Daytona, 3-1. LHP Cody Dickson (4-3, 3.33) allowed only 1 hit and walked 3 while striking out 5 in 5 innings of work. RHP Brett McKinney struck out the side in the ninth for his eighth save. DH Edwin Espinal (.258) was 1 for 3 with 2 RBI and 2B Erich Weiss (.305) finished 2 for 4 with a double and a run scored.

WEST VIRGINIA (27-20) lost its second in a row, 6-4, at Delmarva. RHP Austin Coley (6-3, 3.51) gave up 5 earned runs on 7 hits, including a homer, in 5 innings of work. LF Jerrick Suiter (.338) was 2 for 4 with a 2-run homer and scored two runs.
