INDIANAPOLIS (53-42) swept a doubleheader against Columbus, 1-0 and 14-2. In the first game, RHP Nick Kingham (3-1, 1.62) was the winner, giving up 2 hits and 1 walk with 4 strikeouts in six innings. RF Jose Tabata (.219) went 1 for 3. In the second game, RHP Vin Mazzaro (1.91) gave up 2 runs and 4 hits in 4 innings. RHP John Holdzkom (2-0, 0.00) was the winner. DH Tony Sanchez (.203) hit a 3-run home run. 3B Brent Morel (.229) went 2 for 4 with RBIs.

ALTOONA (35-58) lost to Erie, 12-6. RHP Joan Montero (3-4, 4.95) was the loser, allowing 5 runs and 5 hits in 2 innings. 1B Stetson Allie (.236) went 3 for 5 with an RBI.

BRADENTON (47-41) beat St. Lucie, 4-1. RHP Jason Creasy (5-4, 3.29) was the winner, giving up 4 hits in 7 scoreless innings. LF Justin Maffei (.333) went 2 for 4.

WEST VIRGINIA (30-59) vs. Greensboro suspended in the top of the fifth inning with West Virginia leading, 3-0. Play will resume today.

GCL PIRATES (10-8) beat GCL Blue Jays, 6-1. RHP Dario Agrazal (2-1, 2.55) was the winner, giving up 1 run, 3 hits and striking out 6 in 5 innings. 2B Julio De La Cruz (.280) went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs. RF Barrett Barnes (.313) homered.

BRISTOL (4-15) lost to Bluefield, 4-0. LHP Hector Garcia (0-2, 2.84) was the loser, allowing 1 run and 3 hits in 4 innings. LF Eduardo Figueroa (.254) went 2 for 3.
