Channel surfing

CBS confirmed the next "Survivor" will film in Thailand on the island of Tarutao ... Fox has renewed "Boston Public" for a third season . . . TLC's "Trauma: Life in the ER" is back filming at Allegheny General Hospital, two years after its last visit to town. New "Trauma" episodes, including the Pittsburgh segments, will air in September.

Candidates debate

Bob Casey and Ed Rendell, Democratic candidates in the gubernatorial primary, will debate at 7 tonight in Philadelphia. The one-hour debate will be carried live on PCNC. A rebroadcast will air at 2 p.m. tomorrow on WTAE-TV.
