"Essential Pittsburgh," 90.5 WESA's local program covering news and culture, will conduct a public forum Wednesday from 6-7:30 p.m. on the topic of "architecture and preservation."
Listeners are invited to be part of the live studio audience at the station's Community Broadcast Center on the South Side. The forum will be recorded for future broadcast.
"Essential Pittsburgh" host Paul Guggenheimer will moderate. Panelists include Peter Margittai, architect and president of Preservation Pittsburgh; Sean Luther, Pittsburgh 2030 district director of Green Building Alliance; and John Martine, lead partner at Strada Architecture who also authored "Streetfront and Storefront: A Planning and Program Guide for East Carson Street."

• KQV has announced changes to its Thanksgiving Day lineup. ABC newsradio teams with Consumer Reports for a holiday gift guide at 1 p.m., with features on toys (2 p.m.) and movies (3 p.m.) followed at 4 by the NFL contest between the Washington Redskins and the Dallas Cowboys. A Wall Street Journal wrap-up is at 7:30 p.m.
• A Click and Clack "Car Talk" marathon runs on SiriusXM Channel 121 from 9 a.m. today until 5 a.m. Friday. "Car Talk" will continue with new shows on its NPR Now channel at 10 a.m. Saturdays with repeats Sundays but beginning Monday will run "classic" "Car Talk" on SiriusXM channel 121 and Sirius channel 205 weekdays from 3-6 p.m. and 9 p.m.-midnight, as well as on weekends.
