Steelers Web site
Kids, don't try to duplicate this at home. This man is a professional.
Computer graphics/animation designer Michael Aubrecht's "The Unofficial Pittsburgh Steelers Online Fan Club" contains some of the niftiest statistical graphics you'll find anywhere on the Web. Located at www.nothinbutnet.org/steelerweb, the site includes a weekly pool you can enter, a "Comparer" that puts this week's opponents' statistics side by side, complete NFL stats, a nice Steelers Hall of Fame exhibit and tributes to Dermontti Dawson, Greg Lloyd and Jack Lambert. It also has all-time rosters, trivia and 166 downloadable photos, including one of Aubrecht's superimposed face on the little body of the kid from that famed Joe Greene Coke commercial.
Aubrecht is a defense contractor who specializes in mutlimedia development (which I think means he makes winnable Tank Attack for all the generals at the Pentagon. A Steelers fan, he and a buddy also designed the stats software for the site. He hopes to start by next season a FanCam for live internet talk shows where you guys could actually see (via Web cam) and hear (via microphone and audio) each other while you Y2K yak.
