The Steelers made two more roster moves today when they placed tight end Matt Spaeth on the special injured reserve/designated-to-return and signed rookie linebacker Terence Garvin from their practice squad.

Wide receiver Kashif Moore signed to their practice squad.

Spaeth, who had surgery on his foot to repair a Lisfranc injury, can begin practicing six weeks from now if he's ready. He can come off IR as soon as eight weeks from now. Once he starts practicing, the Steelers will have 21 days to decide whether to add him to their 53-man roster or keep him on injured reserve.
