The Steelers have brought in former New York Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery and are considering signing him to their roster.

Cotchery (6-0, 203), an unrestricted free agent, is visiting with the Steelers coaches today at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe. He has spent all eight NFL seasons with the Jets where he had 358 catches for 4,514 yards and 18 touchdowns in his career.

With injuries to Hines Ward (thumb) and Emmanuel Sanders (foot), the Steelers have been short of experienced receivers at training camp.
