Penguins lose left winger Dustin Jeffrey

The Penguins lost left winger Dustin Jeffrey to the Dallas Stars a day after he was placed on waivers.

Jeffrey, 25, appeared in 10 games this season and recorded one assist. He has been a healthy scratch for much of the season.

A sixth round pick in the 2007 draft, Jeffrey spent parts of seven seasons in the Penguins organization. In 100 games at the NHL level, Jeffrey scored 38 points (15 goals, 13 assists).
