LAS VEGAS -- The agent for Jaromir Jagr said today that Jagr has spoken with Penguins owner Mario Lemieux. The Penguins are exploring the possibility of bringing back the star right winger.
Petr Svoboda said he will meet with his client before traveling from the Czech Republic to Minnesota, site of this weekend's NHL draft.
"I think it went well," Svoboda said of the conversation between Jagr and Lemieux. "They know each other well."
Lemieux and Jagr starred together on the Penguins' 1991 and '92 Stanley Cup teams. Jagr, 39, has spent the past three seasons playing in Russia but is looking at the option of returning to the NHL.
