This camera focuses on a screech owl box located in farmland in Westmoreland County. Currently, it appears to be a different bird species occupying the box — a House Wren and its offspring.

Although screech owls are fairly common, according to PixController, not a lot is known about their behavior given their nocturnal lifestyle.

The nesting period is March and June, while the winter roosting period is usually between October and March.
