Washington County-based Cam Land Inc. will have a chance to take its hometown’s signature race, as Cammikey drew the No. 1 spot Tuesday for the final of the Delvin Miller Adios Pace for the Orchids Saturday at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino.

Two locally-owned horses cracked the top three in the draw, with Ron Burke’s At Press Time taking the third post position. Burke’s other horse, Carracci Hanover, drew an unfavorable spot at No. 9.

Cammikey and At Press Time will play challenger to McWicked, winner of four of his past five races and the favorite Saturday from the second post position.

McWicked won his elimination race, along with Somewhere In LA and Let’s Drink on it.

Somewhere in LA, trained by reigning winning trainer Jimmy Takter, drew the No. 5 spot while Let’s Drink On It will start from No. 7. Rounding out the field are Beat The Drum, Stevensville and Bushwacker in positions four, six and eight.
