South Fayette's Stephen Zombek and Mohawk's McKenzie Stelter enjoyed winning the WPIAL Class AA diving championships last year so much that they decided to do it again.

Zombek and Stelter, both seniors, captured their repeat titles Friday at South Park High School.

Zombek's score of 423.55 topped a field that included Beaver's Micah Ringer, who finished as the runner-up for the second year in a row. Ringer took second with a score of 372.65

Zombek's twin brother, Evan, made it a family affair, placing third with a score of 345.00.

Another South Fayette diver, Trevor Mahoney (326.30), placed fifth.

Stelter, also the defending PIAA champion, scored 459.15 to edge out a couple of freshmen -- Mars' Taylor Hockenberry (431.35) and Derry's Allison Brownlee (425.80).

Stelter was the lone senior among the top nine finishers.

The top nine boys and girls finishers advanced to the PIAA championships March 14-15 at Bucknell University.
