A two-time North Fabulous Five honoree, Wise averaged 21.8 points per game, in addition to helping Vincentian win the WPIAL Class A championship and finish as the PIAA runner-up. ... Wise, who has already scored 1,138 points in her career, had 18 points and 20 rebounds in the WPIAL championship game and 18 points and 18 rebounds in the PIAA final. ... Wise already holds offers from Pitt, Duquesne, Providence and Drexel.

Lauren Wolosik

North Catholic

Guard, 5-9, Sr.

No WPIAL player -- girls or boys -- had a more sensational two-game stretch than Wolosik, who scored 44 points in back-to-back games, breaking the school's single-game record. ... Overall, Wolosik put forth an excellent senior season. She led Class A and was fourth in the WPIAL in scoring (26 points per game). North Catholic made it to the WPIAL semifinals. ... Wolosik will play next season at Central Connecticut State.

Erin Mathias

Fox Chapel Area

Forward, 6-3, Jr.

Mathias, a towering junior, is developing into one of the top post players the WPIAL has seen in quite some time. ... After sitting out her sophomore season with a knee injury, Mathias rebounded to lead Fox Chapel in scoring (17.4 points per game) and rebounding, while pushing the Foxes to an 18-6 record and a share of the Class AAAA Section 2 title. ... Mathias committed to Duke when she was a freshman. She scored 24 points against Gateway.

Sara Pilarski

Hampton

Forward, 6-1, Sr.

Despite dealing with some physical ailments, Pilarski averaged a team-high 16.6 points per game for Hampton, which went 12-0 in Class AAA Section 1, winning its first outright section title since 2007-08. ... Pilarski was a three-year starter and four-year letter-winner. She scored a season-best 31 points Dec. 11 at Vincentian. Pilarski was the leading vote getter on the all-section team. ... Pilarski is hoping to play at the Division II level next season.

Becca Babincak

Deer Lakes

Guard, 5-6, Sr.

Babincak was an all-section pick for the third year in a row and helped Deer Lakes reach the WPIAL Class AA quarterfinals. The Lancers finished with a 20-4 record. ... Babincak averaged 18 points a game and eclipsed 1,000 for her career in a win against Ford City. ... Babincak is also an outstanding softball player. She helped Deer Lakes win the WPIAL championship as a junior. ... Babincak plans on playing basketball next season at Point Park.
