Dulac: Constellation Senior Players Championship favorites

The 30th Constellation Senior Players Championship, begins today at the Fox Chapel Golf Club with a field of 81 players playing 72 holes with no cut. Joe Daley is the defending champion. Pittsburgh Post-Gazette golf writer Gerry Dulac handicaps the favorites for the tournament.

Fred Couples

Skinny: Former champion finished fourth last year, second last week and leads tour in scoring average (68.13).

Bernhard Langer

Skinny: Position is a must at Fox Chapel, and nobody positions the ball better than the former two-time Masters champion.

David Frost

Skinny: Leads the Champions Tour in top-10 finishes (8) and Schwab Cup points.

Colin Montgomerie

Skinny: One of Europe's greatest all-time players making Champions Tour debut.

Kenny Perry

Skinny: Won five times on PGA Tour after turning 47, but just two wins on Champions Tour.

Tom Lehman

Skinny: Closing flurry of birdies last year left him alone in second at Fox Chapel.
