Tickets to the two Frozen Four semifinal games, as well as the national championship, are sold out, but that doesn't mean there's nothing else for fans to enjoy beyond the 180 scheduled minutes of hockey.

In conjunction with the games, there will be an array of fan-related activities around Consol Energy Center that are free to the public.

Headlining those events is "Frozen Fest," from 1-4:30 p.m. before Thursday's semifinal games and from 3-7 p.m. before Saturday night's championship.

The separate Frozen Fests include live entertainment from local bands No Bad JuJu and Tres Lads, sports activities, product displays, championship merchandise and what event organizers describe as "family-friendly fun."

The events will take place in the Centre Avenue parking lot directly across from Consol Energy Center.

In addition to the Frozen Fests, there are a slew of other free activities for fans. The team practices today and Friday are open for public viewing and there will be public skating on the Consol Energy Center ice Friday night, divided into four 30-minute sessions.

Among other free public events is the presentation of the Hobey Baker Award and Hockey Humanitarian Award, the announcement of the All-America team and autograph sessions from players on the championship teams and the Hobey Baker finalists, all of which will be Friday.
