Lake Erie tributaries (Erie County): During Saturday’s Post-Gazette’s Fish On steelheading trip to the Elk Creek Access area in Erie Bluffs State Park, four fish were taken including a lunker released near the mouth by Jim Saccamango of White Oak. Good fishing was reported Saturday and Sunday near the Walnut Creek Access Area, and a few fish were reported at Sixteenmile. Sunday rains increased flow throughout the region, and anglers reported many hookups through Monday evening. Light showers fell Thursday and were predicted for today, with dropping temperatures over the weekend.

Conneaut Lake (Crawford County): Good sized panfish were taken from shore.

French Creek (Crawford County): Anglers reported catching nice walleye near Shaws Landing.

Shenango Reservoir (Mercer County): Fish and Boat reported striped bass were caught along the shores.

Shenango River (Mercer County): Anglers continued to report catches following an October state stocking of rainbow trout from the outflow to the Walnut Street Bridge.

North Park Lake (Allegheny County): The state stocked rainbow trout Nov. 14. Few anglers were on the water.

Spring Creek (Centre County): Forgoing the vaunted trout fishery, Robert Smerbeck had a great time catching smallmouths at the Bellfonte spilllway Nov. 12.
