Mar'Qywell Jackson scored 10 points for the Dukes (15-7, 5-4), who outrebounded the Billikens, 43-36, and made 21 of 26 free throws.
Up, 30-27, at halftime, Duquesne pulled further ahead on a 9-3 run and led, 42-35, in the second half after Mason's jumper with 12:07 left.
Mike Crawford hit two 3-pointers, Ash Yacoubou added another and the Billikens closed to within 48-45, but the Dukes answered with a 16-4 run in which Colter made three 3-pointers and led, 64-49. Saint Louis rallied with 10 consecutive points and made it 69-63 on Mike Crawford's layup with 52 seconds left, but Duquesne finished with a 9-2 run.
Yacoubou scored 18 points with a career-high five 3-pointers and Crawford added 14 for Saint Louis (8-13, 3-6), which has lost two straight.
Florida 88, West Virginia 71: Dorian Finney-Smith scored 24 points, Brandone Francis-Ramirez hit three huge 3-pointers and host Florida (14-7) upset No. 9 West Virginia (17-4) in the Big 12/SEC Challenge. Finney-Smith made 7 of 12 shots, including 5 of 7 from 3-point range, and the Gators never trailed after his first 3 off the opening tip. Jaysean Page and Tarik Phillip scored 15 apiece for West Virginia, which gave up its most points of the season.
Michigan 79, Penn State 72: Zak Irvin scored 20 points and Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman added 15 as Michigan (17-5, 7-2 Big Ten) swept the season series from Penn State (11-11, 2-7) with a win at Madison Square Garden. Derrick Walton Jr. had 13 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists for the Wolverines, who won for the fifth time in six games.
Saint Francis, Pa. 62, Robert Morris 54: Robert Morris (11-9, 5-4 NEC) made five more shots from the field and outrebounded Saint Francis, Pa., (8-12, 6-3 NEC) by 14, but still came up on short at DeGol Arena in Loretto, Pa. The loss is the third in a row for the Colonials.
Baylor 71, West Virginia 61: Alexis Jones scored 20 points, freshman Beatrice Mompremier had 16 points and 15 rebounds, and visiting No. 4 Baylor (21-1, 8-1 Big 12) beat No. 24 West Virginia (16-6, 5-4). Tynice Martin scored 17 points and Jessica Morton and Bria Holmes had 11 apiece for West Virginia.
Purdue 88, Penn State 78: Bridget Perry score 27 points and April Wilson added 22 to help visiting Purdue (16-5, 7-3 Big Ten) beat Penn State (8-13, 3-7) in 2 OTs.
