The Penguins have assigned three players -- defenseman Simon Despres and forwards Nick Drazenovic and Luc-Pierre Letourneau-Leblond – to their American Hockey League affiliate in Wilkes-Barre.

Drazenovic and Luc-Pierre Letourneau-Leblond made their Penguins debuts during a 4-3 victory against Washington Wednesday night at Consol Energy Center, while Despres was a healthy scratch for that game.

Despres has four assists in 18 games with the Penguins this season.

Drazenovic recorded three shots on goal while playing 10 minutes and 18 seconds against the Capitals. Letourneau-Leblond had a team-low four minutes and 34 seconds of ice time in the Washington game.
