The Panthers hired Ross Kolodziej as their head strength and conditioning coach. Kolodziej played defensive tackle at Wisconsin and spent seven years in the NFL from 2001-2007. He served as an assistant strength coach for Pitt this past season under Todd Rice, who resigned as the team's head strength coach a month ago.
"Our goal is to reassert the Pitt program among the very best in college football," Kolodziej said in a statement. "I'm honored to be given this responsibility by Coach [Paul] Chryst. We have a sense of urgency to build upon the momentum from our bowl victory. That starts in the weight room this winter."
