Teresa Heinz Kerry, hospitalized Sunday in Boston, continues to improve while doctors try to determine what caused her seizure-like symptoms.
Family spokesman Glen Johnson said today that doctors at Massachusetts General Hospital have ruled out possible seizure triggers or other ailments, including a heart attack, stroke or brain tumor.
He said the family doesn't plan on making anymore statements until Mrs. Kerry is released from the hospital.
Her husband, Secretary of State John Kerry, will briefly travel to Washington, D.C., today to open the U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue.
Other members of the Kerry family will remain at the hospital, Mr. Johnson said.
