Q: If Daryll Clark continues to light it up as he has early in this season and cements himself as the starter, do you foresee Pat Devlin possibly transferring due to the lack of playing time? With Clark now set on returning for his senior year in 2009, Devlin would only have one more year of eligibility remaining once Clark leaves.

Brandon Davis, Pittsburgh

MUSSELMAN: Clark leads the Big Ten in pass efficiency after just three games and three career starts. He has been playing extremely well. Devlin has made the most of his limited playing time and I think he will hang around and keep fighting for the starting job. He has displayed a strong, accurate arm in his three appearances. It's pretty easy to understand why he threw for a Pennsylvania-record 8,162 yards in career at Downingtown East High School.
