Penguins center and captain Sidney Crosby was named the NHL first star of the week ending Sunday.
Crosby, who was the first star for the month of November, had five goals, six points -- most among anyone in the league for the week -- in three games. The Penguins won those three games to extend their victory streak to nine.
Crosby carries a 15-game points streak into tonight's home game against New Jersey and leads the league with 46 points.
Buffalo goaltender Ryan Miller was the No. 2 star of the week, Edmonton rookie winger Taylor Hall the No. 3 star of the week.
