Steelers involved in stupidity should know they are replaceable

As a lifelong football and Steelers fan, I continue to be amazed at how stupid millionaire players continue to be. Why would anyone in that position put themselves at odds with the law? Whether Le’Veon Bell or LeGarrette Blount are charged is not the issue (“2 Steelers Formally Cited in Drug Case,” Aug. 22). Same with Maurkice Pouncey regarding an altercation at a nightclub at a party he hosted with his brother (“Pounceys Await Word on Charges,” Aug. 9).

My question is why would you put yourself in any position to risk it? Who is advising them, or are they just that dumb? Either way, each of them is replaceable. Remember Santonio Holmes?

Sad for them, but true. The Steelers franchise would survive without all three.
