Pittsburgh has a void of good radio music after WJAS' format change

I agree 100 percent-plus with the letter of Nita Ryan (“Missing the Music,” Aug 16). There are enough talk radio shows now! We all miss the music! 1320 was set on all my radios.

Just last Thursday my friend flew in from San Clemente, got a rental car and drove from the airport to pick me up. When I got in the car she asked, “What’s that station you always listen to with the good music? I want to set it so I can have it on while I’m in town.” When I told her it is now talk shows she couldn’t believe it.

For years I have listened to it, and now I’m lost without it. Please do bring back Jack Bogut and Bill Cardille. I hope more people who are disappointed will write in, too.
