We don't need any more radio hate-talk

I was disappointed upon hearing of the departure of Jack Bogut and Bill Cardille from 1320 WJAS-AM radio. My disappointment turned toward outrage when I learned that the new format included yet more right-wing talk radio. Where does one go for easy listening?

The hate-mongering spewed from the mouths of Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity is in stark contrast with music from the ’50s, ’60s, ’70s and ’80s, along with commentary from Mr. Bogut and Mr. Cardille, which my peers and I enjoyed.

These so-called “entertainers” on the station now fuel the hatred in our current political climate, and we certainly have enough hatred in the world without it being nurtured by the likes of Beck/Limbaugh/Hannity.
