I recently saw an article in the Post-Gazette about folks comparing the service by cabs, Uber and Lyft (“Reporters Find Mixed Bag of Results with Ride Sharing, Regulated Rides,” July 13). It seems like the same, usual thing with Yellow Cab, which for years has had egg on its face for not providing the right service. It has not hired back good drivers who provided good service in the past. The mistakes that Yellow Cab has made have cost it money and embarrassment.
Yellow Cab, stop crying the blues about some other competing services here to serve the public better. Get your house in order before you throw stones and cry to the Public Utility Commission about some other company trying to provide better service to the public.
