Regarding the May 5 column “As Benghazi Lies Mount, Media Eyes Shut”: Another pseudo-sensationalized title of hypocritical “Republican’t” propaganda by another queen of spin, Ruth Ann Dailey.

Blue Street Journal blog research tells me about numerous embassy and consulate attacks:

Jan. 22, 2002: U.S. consulate at Kolkata, five killed.

June 14, 2002: U.S. consulate at Karachi, 12 killed.

Feb. 28, 2003: U.S. consulate at Karachi, two killed.

June 30, 2004: U.S. Embassy at Tashkent, two killed.

Dec. 6, 2004: U.S. compound at Saudi Arabia, nine killed.

March 2, 2006: U.S. consulate in Karachi, four killed.

Sept. 12, 2006: U.S. Embassy at Syria, four killed.

March 18, 2008: U.S. Embassy at Yemen, two killed.

July 9, 2008: U.S. consulate at Istanbul, six killed.

Sept. 17, 2008: U.S. Embassy at Yemen, 16 killed.

Total deaths: 62.

Outraged “Republican’ts”: Zero.

This was all on George W. Bush’s watch without an uproar or mention of Iraq.
