Diverse ‘Seen’

I am writing in response to the letter expressing disdain for the “Seen” column (“Same Old ‘Seen,’ ” Jan. 18).

The column has been all-inclusive for years promoting all age groups, school-age to seniors, all races and all ethnicities from organizations and events throughout Pittsburgh, not just the so-called “old white faces” as the letter stated.

How grand that all these diverse populations care about our city and support its institutions.

Why then does our letter writer read the Seen column so diligently each week? Perhaps the problem is only in the eye of the beholder. Get with it; it is you, not us!
