PSU coach hoopla

So Penn State has a new football coach. I couldn’t care less. Headlines are made, an enormous salary is granted and everything stays the same. Penn State is football. Only it’s not and that’s the problem.

Our state university is hundreds of intelligent, talented and experienced faculty, paid far less than the football coach, who give their professional lives to important research and enriching the lives of students.

Unfortunately, the only lesson these students learn from all this hoopla about a coach is that money trumps all.
