Lust in the heart

Gay activists exhorting religion claim that Jesus never mentioned that homosexuality was a sin. At the same time they attack Paul and others as maverick teachers spewing hate, thereby diminishing God’s love. The problem is that Jesus did address homosexuality when he told the crowd that if they lusted in their hearts they’d already committed adultery.

Citing adultery as a specific example of sexual sin doesn’t suggest that he was endorsing all other sexual sin by not mentioning them. What Jesus was saying was that even the thought of any sex outside of the marriage between a man and a woman is wrong.

It’s difficult to miss the wreckage of human lives around us rising out of the misuse of sex. A good Christian and anyone who truly cares is constrained to tell those in the gay lifestyle that it will cost them God’s presence forever. What in human experience is more important? A bad Christian and the well-intended will love them straight into hell just to be nice.
