It was not murder

Having read the Dec. 26 letters to the editor regarding the Liposchok family tragedy (“Father, Disabled Son Found Dead; Friends Call Killing an ‘Act of Love,’ ” Dec. 18 news story), I am appalled at those who could label this as murder.

Having known Richard Liposchok when he was younger, I remember a kind, honest and caring family man dedicated to making the community a better place. One can only speculate the burden he felt after losing his wife of 50 years and having to deal with failing health and a severely disabled son.

For anyone to refer to this tragedy as a murder is in itself an atrocity.
