Federal mistakes

Your front-page article celebrating the end of Prohibition (“Prohibition Ended 80 Years Ago Today, But the Dry Movement Never Worked Here,” Dec. 5) reminds us all that sometimes the American people do rise up and demand the repeal of a truly bad federal idea.

Whether it’s Prohibition or Obamacare, the “feds” do get it wrong sometimes. The same amount of mayhem that surrounded Prohibition is already emerging with this latest bad idea out of Washington. I look forward to your headline celebrating the repeal of yet another federal blunder.
