Not festive for us

I love living Downtown, as I have for the past 12 years, at Gateway Towers. More and more people are realizing the great lifestyle that we have here in the city. But imagine if the city closed down a neighborhood in, say, Bloomfield or Squirrel Hill of almost 300 households for Light Up Night festivities! That is exactly what happened to the 300 condo owners at Gateway Towers. And it happens every time there is a Downtown event of this size.

The city limits accessibility to our homes as well as for our visitors. I’m sure there must be a better way to manage traffic at these events that would be good for all of us as well as those attending the events. I implore the city to find a better way. I love the city and want everyone to do the same.
