Invariably

Picked out of the trash,

Found on the dump,

Left by the road

Is a treasure

Worth a fortune.

The man who slept

Under the bridge

Wearing a sign

I can’t get my mail

Is a graduate of Penn State.

The old woman with the cart

Is called Mother

By the other homeless.

Other treasures.
