I read Tony Norman’s column regularly and disagree on some of his utterings. However, on Tuesday with “Biggest Gap in Black Kids’ Learning: Parents,” he showed me his ability to consume a problem and come up with the proper answer. Truly a child in most cases will fail in learning unless parents insist on success in academics.

Right on, Tony. Let’s hope they listen.
