The Riverlife Task Force
Funded primarily by private foundations, the new task force is composed of riverfront
property owners and business and civic leaders who will seek to identify aesthetic,
environmental and economic issues related to the development of portions of the Allegheny,

development that would be used as a guide for city officials and other public leaders as
they make decisions on riverfront proposals.
