Caption Contest 310 … and the winners of 309

Stacy Innerst is the artist. You are the caption writer.

Two gallant mice drew punsters out of the woodwork. Some of our entries were quite similar, but our judges split rodent hairs and made tough choices. Results for CapCon 309 were as tight as Tupperware, with a tie for first and a tie for third. They can be found below.

CapCon310 shows something sinister poking from the U.S. Capitol. We wonder what that’s all about. Send up to three caption possibilities, either via email to page2@post-gazette.com or real mail to Caption Contest/Portfolio, Post-Gazette, 358 North Shore Drive, Suite 300, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15212. Include name and address and identify your municipality or Pittsburgh city neighborhood. Entries must be received by midnight Sunday March 19. Winners get a Post-Gazette coffee mug that is mouse-free.
