The board of Pittsburgh Public Schools tonight made additional leadership changes, including accepting the retirement of Mary Jane Conley, executive director of special education.

The board accepted the resignation of Theresa Cherry, principal of Pittsburgh Manchester PreK-8. It named Michilene Pegher, a teacher at Pittsburgh Greenfield K-8, the principal of Manchester.

In addition, the board named Kellie Meyer, a teacher at Pittsburgh Montessori PreK-8 in Friendship, the interim principal at that school. Earlier this month, Montessori principal Jamie Kinzel-Nath was named principal of Colfax K-8 in Squirrel Hill.
