A West Jefferson Hills School District teacher facing drug charges turned himself in today, his attorney said.

Scott Houck, 41, of South Park was arraigned this afternoon by Magisterial District Judge Guy Reschenthaler, attorney Charles LoPresti said. He is free on $10,000 non-monetary bond.

Mr. Houck, who teaches technology education at Thomas Jefferson High School, was suspended with pay, superintendent Michael Panza said.

South Park police Chief Dennis M. McDonough said the crimes occurred at Mr. Houck's home, where he lives with his girlfriend. The incident date is listed as Sept. 17 in online court records. He was charged Sunday with conspiracy with intent to deliver, possession and prohibited acts.
