One person was killed in a crash on Interstate 79 in Collier this afternoon, Pennsylvania state police said.
The incident happened around 2:45 p.m. on I-79 near the Parkway West split.
Mary Jean Contaldo, 69, of Carnegie was killed when she lost control of a Chevrolet Malibu entering I-79 from the Carnegie ramp. The driver of a box truck hit the side of a GetGo gas trailer in an attempt to avoid a collision with the Malibu. All three vehicles ended up in the median.
The other two drivers were not injured.
