• Sandra Gorsop, 43, of South Fayette, was charged Aug. 14 with forgery and prohibited acts of drug laws after police responded to Rite Aid on Chartiers Street for a report of someone trying to fill an altered prescription.

• Wendy Hunter, 45, of South Fayette was charged Sunday with unauthorized use of an automobile after, police said, a man reported that she had taken his car from McLaughlin Park without his permission.

• Randy Thompson, 45, of Bridgeville, was charged twice within a two-hour period on Sunday with public intoxication. One incident took place on Pennsylvania Avenue and the other on New York Street.

• Devante Brooks, 18, of Bridgeville, was charged Aug. 1 with three counts of corruption of minors, four counts of furnishing liquor to minors, carrying a false identification card and underage consumption of alcohol after police discovered a small drinking party at the rear of an apartment building on Hickman Street. Two female juveniles and one male juvenile were charged with liquor law violations in the same incident.


• Parilyn M. Still, 33, and Victor Morgan-El Jr., 26, both of Carnegie, were charged last Thursday with simple assault following a domestic incident on Fountain Street. Morgan-El also was charged with disorderly conduct, harassment and public drunkenness.

• Sarah Orient, 52, of Scott, was charged last Thursday with public drunkenness on Lincoln Avenue.

• Jason A. Sierka, 28, of Carnegie, was charged Aug. 17 with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness on Logan Street.

• James A. Chiodo, 41, of Pittsburgh, was charged Friday with public drunkenness on Jane Street.

• Drew A. Kramer, 33, of Heidelberg, was charged Sunday with public drunkenness on Sarah Street.

• Toni Lynn Ayala, 26, of Pittsburgh and Jerome Sheret-Curotola, 26, of Carnegie, were charged Saturday with violating the borough ordinance against open containers of alcohol in public. They were stopped on Sixth Street.


• Police received a report Aug. 7 that burglars had forced open the rear door of a home on Pinkerton Run Road. A 42-inch Sanyo television worth $589 and a b.b. gun were stolen.

South Fayette

• A 25-foot General Electric refrigerator worth $1,200 was stolen between Aug. 15 and 16 from a home under construction on Middlefield Drive.
