Mars Area School District Superintendent William Pettigrew will consider three small construction projects needed because of district growth.

The school board Tuesday authorized Mr. Pettigrew to get cost estimates for a small parking lot, a field that could be used for soccer or lacrosse practices, and a metal storage building.

Funding for the projects, if they proceed, will come from previous bond issues.
