Sharpsburg council voted unanimously Wednesday to remove a woman accused of having sexual relations with a 15-year-old boy for several months as the borough's recreation committee president.
Susan M. Sundo, 45, had sex with the boy in her house, as well as in the backseat of her SUV, according to a criminal complaint filed Tuesday. They also engaged in oral sex and had kissed in the woman's SUV, according to the complaint.
She was charged with corruption of minors, statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse.
Ms. Sundo is being held in Allegheny County Jail on $20,000 bail, according to online court records. Her preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 16 with Magisterial District Judge Elissa Marie Lang.
The borough recreation committee presidency is not a paid or elected position. Ms. Sundo was in charge of scheduling events, borough secretary Jan Barbus said.
